Comedy and wellbeing project - Estonia
Funded by Capital of Culture, this project taught professionals, employers and the public about our work using comedy on prescription to help people’s mental health resilience. We took 6 men from our suicide prevention project with us and also performed 2 sold out stand-up shows. We spent over 5 days in Tartu, Estonia, sharing our projects findings and helping Estonia use comedy in it’s mental health provision.
Alright Mate?
A mens health comedy course in Exeter looking at building confidence and connection through stand-up comedy. The project culminated in a celebratory open mic performance at The Bootlegger in Exeter, where participants took to the stage and shared their stories with a warm and enthusiastic audience. It was a joyful, affirming afternoon – full of laughter, camaraderie, and courage.

This project created The Bristol Comedy History Walk and an audio play about walking with children, both written by Angie Belcher.
The Bristol Comedy History Walk
The Bristol Comedy History Walk was written and produced by Angie Belcher in partnership with Bristol Improv Theatre and funded by Bristol City Council. Together they are using their love of delighting and inspiring audiences through improvised, participative theatre and comedy to take a quirky look at the hidden histories of Bristol.
